The Bears and 4th Grade Webelos had a joint trip to the Science Museum of Long Island.
Throughout the year the cub scouts work on required and bonus activities to earn their annual Ranks. The Rank requirements were designed by the Scout’s national organization with the input and advice of educators, and are developed with age/grade appropriate standards. Over the years the requirements and activities are updated and changed.
Some times the requirements for two different grades or ranks can overlap. Here the SMLI educators and workers are helping our 3rd Grade Bears larn about science and nature and our 4th Grade Webelos learn about the same topics in a more advanced way.
